Portuguese Forum promises and Delivers!
There is a saying - Everyone is hungry in the same language - and I think that covid has shown this to be true. It came suddenly, and for the most part, we were not prepared for what followed. between health safety and a declining economy due to covid far too many have lost their income, and the result has been scary. In September of 2020, the Portuguese Forum decided that action needed to be taken and the Social Solidarity Food Drive was held to gather food to aid those in need. It was promised that there would not only be food gathered for different charities but that a massive 400 tonnes would be gathered for the Government Food Banks. It was something that a lot of people said was impossible.
